Terms of Use

The rules, responsibilities and limitations of Xoolin for parents and their children.

Before you begin

These Terms apply to use of Xoolin. A parent or legal guardian must accept them on behalf of a child. Xoolin is intended for children aged 6–10 with parent-managed accounts; it is not intended for independent registration by children.

1. Operator and agreement

Xoolin is the service name. Insert the correct contracting legal entity, business address, and support contact before public launch. By registering or allowing a child to use Xoolin, you confirm that you have legal authority to act for that child and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Fictional AI conversations

All friend, teacher, visitor and family-inspired characters within the child chat experience are simulated AI personalities. They are not real school friends, teachers, relatives or other children. They do not have personal feelings, independent relationships or real-world obligations. The service does not include public chat or messaging between users.

3. Parent responsibilities

Parents are responsible for supervising use in a manner suitable for their child, safeguarding credentials, choosing appropriate character settings, reviewing activity when needed and keeping submitted information accurate. Do not upload or enter another child’s identifiable details without a lawful basis and appropriate permission. Please report safety or privacy concerns promptly.

4. AI limits and educational use

AI replies, quizzes, suggestions and learning summaries can be wrong, incomplete, inappropriate or inconsistent despite safeguards. Xoolin is a supplementary learning and play tool, not a substitute for teachers, professional tutoring, parental judgment, medical care, counselling, emergency services or other professional advice. Children should ask an adult before following advice that may affect their health, safety or personal information.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Xoolin to harass, exploit or endanger others; impersonate a real person deceptively; submit unlawful or abusive material; collect or expose someone else’s private information; bypass safety or parental controls; interfere with systems; reverse engineer protected elements except as permitted by law; or automate abusive use. We may restrict access to protect users, our systems or compliance.

6. Profiles and submitted content

Parents are responsible for content they choose to submit, including names, character descriptions and chat prompts. You retain your rights in your original content. You grant the operator a limited right to process that content as needed to provide, secure and support Xoolin, subject to the Privacy Policy. Do not submit content you lack permission to use. AI-generated content may not be unique and may resemble content generated for others.

7. Accounts, availability and changes

Account access depends on correct credentials and any necessary parent approval. We may update, modify, suspend or retire features, and may restrict an account where reasonably necessary for security, law or misuse. We aim to provide reasonable notice where practical. Features described as planned or coming later are not guaranteed to launch.

8. Fees and subscriptions

The current promotional website does not establish a subscription price. If paid plans are introduced, the applicable price, currency, renewal terms, tax and cancellation/refund terms must be clearly displayed before purchase. No paid renewal or charge is authorized solely by accepting these Terms.

9. Safety concerns and emergencies

We use safeguards intended to reduce unsafe exchanges, but cannot guarantee every response. The service is not designed to monitor a child in real time or provide emergency response. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. To report harmful content or a child-safety issue, contact [email protected] (activate and monitor this inbox before launch).

10. Intellectual property

The Xoolin name, interface, software and original visual materials are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give a limited, non-transferable permission to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Third-party names such as Minecraft may be referenced descriptively; such references do not imply partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.

11. Privacy, closure and deletion

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. Parents can request account closure and deletion, subject to lawful retention needs, by contacting [email protected]. Closing an account may end access to stored conversations and activity history.

12. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted access or error-free AI output. We do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protection rights. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for our own unlawful conduct.

13. Applicable law and disputes

The governing law and dispute process should be finalized with the operator’s correct legal entity and location before launch. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory statutory rights or protections available to consumers or children in their jurisdiction. Contact us first at [email protected] to discuss a concern.

14. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms with appropriate notice. Where law requires it, renewed consent will be obtained. Last updated: October 8, 2026. Questions: [email protected].
